Writing Romance Pascale Duguay

Lovable Rakes ~ Spirited Heroines ~ Quirky Villains ~ Madcap Scrapes

I’ve been reading romances since I was a teenager. I remember my high school librarian frowning in disapproval from his towering height whenever I borrowed one of the Harlequin novels from the small rack sitting on the circulation desk. I never let that deter me though. I simply smiled and handed him my book so he could sign it out. I wonder what his reaction would be had he learned I have become a romance author!

I had two Regency romances published by Musa Publishing (Twice Ruined and The Colour of Love). They are not presently available due to the closing of Musa in February 2015. But stay tuned as I continue to work on new stories while looking for my dream publisher for these two books!

Professional Reviews for Twice Ruined

From LONG AND SHORT OF IT:
“Pascale Duguay entertains and tickles the funny-bone while delighting the reader with a love story full of adventure, drama, and make-believe that keeps the reader turning pages and cheering for Patience. Twice Ruined sparkles as it zips along headed toward its happy-ever-after.”

From SIZZLING HOT BOOK REVIEWS:
“Twice Ruined is an amusing, classic historical romance. This goes back to the early reads we grew up with: clean romance, lots of interfering family and friends, confusing sub-plots to keep us busy, a hero with blinders on, and a cute, strong heroine.”
